Michelle Provost-Wassell, LPC, CHt
Michelle Provost-Wassell received her M.S. in Counseling Psychology from Radford University in 2008, as well as, certification in hypnotherapy. She is currently a LPC in the state of South Carolina, a certified hypnotherapist, a Mental Health First Aid Instructor, a Visiting Instructor of Psychology at Claflin University and is the owner/founder of Fulfilling Minds.
Her research and areas of interest include Mental Health First Aid, alternative approaches for treating crisis, trauma, and anxiety, individual and group counseling for survivors of sexual assault, MET (Motivational Enhancement Therapy), stress reduction and mindfulness.
Michelle grew up in the Salem/Roanoke, VA area, where she began Fulfilling Minds in April 2008, and moved to South Carolina in late 2009 where she has continued her practice in addition to teaching in higher education since 2010. She has been awarded 2012/13 Educator of the Year at OC Tech and 2016 Instructor of the Year at Claflin University.
